We need a passionate and caring Clinical Lead with up to date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning to enhance our current team. You will work in conjunction with our Senior Management Team and Nurses providing advice, support and guidance on clinical matters to ensure the service delivered to our residents and members is of the highest standard. You must be a qualified Nurse with a valid NMC pin and possess excellent clinical, communication and leadership skills. A natural educator, you will continually seek to share your knowledge in care of the older person with those around you. You will have a real understanding of the benefits that the right care can bring to residents’ lives and champion independence, choice and dignity at all times.
You should have a good awareness of CQC and the regulatory framework within which our organisation works. Ideally you will also have up to date experience of working with residents and members living with dementia.
You will be expected to work 1 x 7 hour shift per week as a Nurse in Charge of the nursing home to ensure your clinical practice is kept up to date. The remainder of your time will be spent on a supernumerary basis dealing with medication management, providing clinical supervision and training for the Nurse Team and take the lead on care planning in addition to providing clinical advice and support to the Management Team.
Hours of work 35 per week.
Salary £35,000 - £38,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
