What do we do? Our service in Gloucester specialises in providing care to older persons in their own homes. We have customers throughout the areas of Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Hesterway, Prestbury, Hatherly, Leckhampton and Charlton Kings
Each of our customers have their own personalised care plan which is made up of a selection of services that support and empower them to live independently. So whether it’s helping customers to get out of bed, preparing meals, assisting with medication, helping around the house, delivering personal care or even taking them to do their weekly food shop, our carers are there to make sure our customers are fully supported to continue to live in their own home and maintain their independence.
What are we looking for? Making sure our customers are cared for by the right people with the right values is our top priority. You will need to be friendly, committed and hardworking with a caring nature and a genuine desire to make a difference to people’s lives. Previous care experience isn’t essential because you will attend our intensive induction training programme to fully equip you with the skills required to deliver a great service.
We make sure we’re always there for our customers when they need us so our service operates between 7am-10pm.Working 30 hours per week, you will have the flexibility to work shifts between our service times over 7 days - including alternate weekends when required.
You will visit a number of customers who live in different areas during your shift so you will also need to have a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
