We’re in one of the most exciting periods in the history of Guinness Care and have set ambitious, challenging objectives for the future. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care and Support Enabler to join our friendly Homecare Team
•Work in partnership with external agencies involved in the planning, provision and monitoring of support to customers
•Communicate with all relevant contacts regarding the customer’s social care and well-being
•Promote customer involvement in shaping and monitoring services
•Ensure that customer care plans are written clearly with a person centred approach.
•All customer reviews are carried out in a timely manner.
•Provide high quality, responsive and person centred services that meet the physical, mental and emotional needs of customers ensuring people have choice and control over their own lives
•Supervise and monitor staff performance and where appropriate and when necessary carry out performance monitoring
•Be involved in the recruitment and retention of staff
•Ensure carers are fully trained and job shadowing has taken place to the required standards
•Complete regular staff supervisions and annual performance reviews in line with current policies
•Health and Social Care Diploma at level 2 or working towards
•Excellent IT skills
•Experience of working in a care setting
•Availability to work the on call rota
•Full driving license and access to a car are essential.
