Care Coordinator

Windrush Care is a young and fast-growing care business providing home care to predominantly private clients around Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester and the Cotswolds.
As our Care Coordinator, based at our head office in central Cheltenham, you will contribute to the efficient running of the company as a key member of the Management Team. You will also provide a reliable and professional care and support service to our clients as we help maintain their independence in their own homes.
Your duties will include :
Providing the highest standards of care at all times.
Ensuring the production, timely distribution and understanding of rotas.
Supervising and supporting all carers.
Build relationships with all our clients and commissioners alongside our Care Manager and Registered Manager
Maintaining and developing our management information system ensuring accurate information for payroll etc.
Conducting risk assessments and assisting with the recruitment activity.
Maintaining all carer files to comply with CQC
Coordinating the training and development of all care staff
Participate in the on call and out of hours service, covering calls as and when necessary.
To undertake duties including weekends as per the rota and to respond appropriately to any calls received.
To carry out care visits to customers where necessary.
Conducting client / service user reviews
Handling enquiries from potential customers and ensuring appropriate follow up
General office administrative tasks and other duties as required.
The successful person will need:
A flexible attitude.
Experience in domiciliary care/care work providing Personal Care.
Excellent customer service skills.
A caring nature and person-centred approach.
NVQ/QCF level 3 in health and social care (adult pathway) or work towards this
Valid UK driving license and use of own vehicle.
Working hours are - Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm (mostly office based) with evening / weekend cover when required.
