•To be available to assist the Catering Manager / Cook in any job that is deemed necessary which could include:
•Preparation of vegetables
•Cleaning of kitchen and equipment
•Assist with the cleaning of services on a daily basis.
•Collect and distribute crockery from the resident areas
•Preparation of meals within your capabilities
•Dining room duties, i.e. laying tables, waiting at and cleaning tables
•Delivering and collecting meals / trays from residents rooms
•Coffee and tea rounds
•For compliance with the Health & Safety Policy in the kitchen and stores.
•To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and stores.
•To be fully conversant with the rules and procedures carried out in the event of fire
•Any duty which falls within the responsibility of the job.
