logo

We concentrate on carefully selecting and managing staff so they provide safe, high quality support via person centred care. If you feel that you have the right values to make a difference then this is the role for you.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for people who care regardless of qualifications or experience. We care more about you sharing and demonstrating our values, which are:

• To treat people as we would wish to be treated
• To work hard to deliver a bespoke service through choice and empowerment
• To demonstrate compassion, respect, empathy, dignity, courage, adaptability and integrity

Can you show us how you would treat the people we support, with the dignity and respect they deserve? Are you courageous, willing to champion quality, and raise concerns? If you believe you can, you share our values, and genuinely care, we want you!

We will give you all the training and support you need, such as obtaining a qualification in health and social care.

You will be supported by the organisation to make a difference by not only providing personal care to the people we support, but supporting them to develop a wide range of life skills and also attend social activities.
Work is on a rota system over 7 days with weekend, evening and sleep in shifts required. Normal shift patterns are from 7am-3pm and 3pm-10pm, and sleep ins but shifts can vary depending on service user need.
We offer a competitive rate of pay of £8.00ph -£9.00ph (depending on experience and qualifications). The vacancies are for full-time or part time hours on a permanent basis with contracted hours available.
The position for which you are applying involves contact with vulnerable adults and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and all subsequent amendments (England and Wales). For these positions you are not entitled to withhold information about police cautions, bind-overs, or any criminal convictions including any that would be considered ‘spent’ under the Act.
Saracen Care is committed to the safeguarding and promotion of welfare of vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. We adhere to safer recruitment practices to protect individuals and any appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Data Barring Service clearance.
