Support Worker

Basic salary is £15,804 annually which is £8.21 per hour.

Earn more with a 9 hour sleep in shift completed once each week which will add an extra £3,664 to your annual salary!

This role is 37 hours and open to female applicants only*

The Supported Living team in Gloucestershire strives to make a real difference to people’s lives by putting people first and shaping our service to each and every individual. We have loads of experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and ‘challenging behaviour’.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.

How can I make a difference?

You will:

Offer direct support to people with learning difficulties, who display challenging behaviour and complex needs.
Work closely with your colleagues and support each other.
Be involved in day-to-day support including: personal care, food preparation, housework, pursuing hobbies, support in the community and promoting independence
Keep accurate and timely records.
Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will:

Have good communication skills.
Have experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or just a real desire to work within the field. You may have skills that are transferrable.
Have the ability to motivate others and work in a positive way with people we support.
Possess a good work ethic, as well as positive attitudes and behaviours.
