Every Day is Different: Campaign Evaluation & Next Steps


The Department of Health & Social have released an evaluation summary of the Every Day is Different adult social care recruitment campaign, that ran in February to April 2019. 

They have also confirmed that they have secured funding for a second wave of the campaign to run in 2019/20, so watch this space for further updates.

The Department of Health & Social Care are pleased to let you know that an evaluation summary is now available for the first national wave of the Every Day Is Different adult social care recruitment campaign, as well as a wider update on the next steps.

These include:

The Campaign Dashboard, which summarises the overall performance of the campaign against its objectives as well as learnings.

The Care Provider Survey Report, which summarises the feedback we received from 756 care staff.

Following this evaluation, it has been announced that funding has been approved for the second national wave of Every Day Is Different to run in 2019/20.

Planning is about to start for the 2019/20 phase of the campaign and the DHSC have recruited people and lined up research and communications agencies to support them, and they will provide more information in due course. 

In the meantime, they would like to hear from care providers who have seen a positive impact on their own recruiting during the last advertising period. This will help build further sector awareness and support, which will, in turn, boost the effectiveness of the campaign overall. They are happy to take feedback in any form, such as a quote, a blog or a short video.
