Skills for Care have just held their first Gloucestershire ‘Getting Started with vales and behaviours-based recruitment’ workshop

Held on the 9th October at Hallmark Hotel in Gloucester, the event was a huge success and well received by over 40 different professionals from the sector.

 

This half-day workshop helped providers to understand the vital first steps needed to ensure values are embedded throughout all areas of recruitment and retention in the health and social care sector.

 

The workshop explored:

.     what workplace values are

.     the benefits of establishing workplace values

.     working with others to develop and agree workplace values

.     communicating your values.

 

Attendees left the event full of ideas and ways to get started with values based working and recruiting, ready to influence real sustainable change in their workplace.
