Building Circles

Building Circles works to transform the lives of people with learning disabilities, ensuring that everyone can feel safe and confident in their friendships, relationships, and in social environments. Building Circles offer packages of training for both individuals with learning disabilities and for those who support them. 

Courses are costed for care professionals, including unpaid carers, but training is free for any adult with a learning disability in Gloucestershire.

Building Circles can offer care staff training in the following areas:

• Abuse Awareness & Prevention / Safeguarding
• How to have Difficult Conversations
• Learning Disability Awareness
• Prevent – differentiated training covering the prevention of extremism, radicalisation and terrorism
