Cambridge Diabetes Education Programme (CDEP)
Cambridge Diabetes Education Programme (CDEP) is an online learning platform dedicated to diabetes. The bitesize free online training supports health and social care staff working with diabetic patients at all levels of experience, in any healthcare discipline and care setting.
It aims to support staff to enhance their knowledge of managing diabetes and can be used as an additional resource alongside practical clinical training, mentoring and training opportunities.
It is a nationally recognised training platform that focuses on the diabetes framework of competencies, to ensure healthcare staff have the right skills to support patients. The training is approved, offering CPD certification.
Gloucestershire ICB are pleased to offer colleagues free access to this training. Once you have registered and signed up, training access is valid for 12 months, meaning you can learn at your own pace. Registration also allows access to additional special webinar topics published throughout the year.
