Older Drivers Forum

Gloucestershire Older Drivers Forum is a voluntary organisation that operates under the charitable status of the Gloucestershire Older Persons Association, which aims to provide a voice for our older generation in the county.

The forum provides advice for mature drivers on how to keep driving safely for longer and how to plan for when it is time to retire from driving. They also support carers, both paid and unpaid, and families concerned about a mature driver.

Their website contains comprehensive information and free resources, including recordings of webinars on numerous road safety topics and a toolkit print package. The forum provides free monthly community webinars via Zoom. Every quarter these include a webinar specifically for families and carers concerned about a mature driver.

They also offer bespoke face-to-face presentations for which they request a donation to cover travel and print costs. They can also offer a point-of-presence at events.
