Skills for Care

Skills for Care is the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care in England. They provide managers and those involved in the delivery of social care with guidance on best practice, tools, resources and intelligence to support workforce recruitment, capabilities and culture.

Skills for Care offer a range of learning and development programmes which are free, subsidised or paid-for depending on the specific course and learner circumstances. They also host free training resources and tools on their website, including an A-Z directory of care topics, as well as a range of bookable webinars, workshops and seminars.

Skills for Care host a directory of endorsed learning providers which recognises providers who deliver high quality learning and development to the social care sector.
