The Rees Foundation

The Rees Foundation offers a free Caring for Care Leavers in Employment training course. This 4.5-hour course offers knowledge, skills and confidence to managers who may be supporting care leavers as part of their team. The course is aimed at supervisors, managers, mentors, buddies who are either responsible for or support care leavers within the workplace. Having an awareness of the challenges and barriers that care leavers often face, while not making stereotypical assumptions, can help employers to offer opportunities and give support that is appropriate and effective.
