About Proud to Care
Proud to Care Gloucestershire, as part of NHS Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire County Council, work to support independent care providers and the care community to recruit and retain a skilled and valued workforce that delivers high-quality adult social care to Gloucestershire communities.
Our vision is to:
- Engage Gloucestershire’s independent care sector recruiters and existing/potential care workforce
- Encourage best practice in recruitment and retention, promoting careers in care and connecting people
- Enable a sustainable, capable and values-based care sector workforce in Gloucestershire

Proud to Care Gloucestershire aim to promote careers in care, champion the value of care in our county, and explore recruitment, retention, training and development opportunities to support the care sector.

Home Care is the range of services provided to support a person in their own home.
Care Home Providers:
Care Homes provider residential accommodation and care for people needing extra support in their daily lives.
Hospices:
Hospices provide care for people who are nearing the end of their lives.
Shared Lives:
